This gallery features all sorts of NYC-centric images created over the years. The icon for this gallery is a zoomed in closeup of the Statue of Liberty: Just as iconic as other landmarks in NYC is the Statue of Liberty. If you've ever stood at the base and looked up then you'd really feel the overwhelmingly powerful existence of the Lady on the Harbor. Mind you, this little collection also features images gotten from a hike up to the Lady's Crown. A spot which had been closed off to the general public since September 11, 2001 and reopened on July 4, 2009. Yours truly was one of the lucky ones to be able to make his way up there. 'and oh what a thrill it was.
